About the event
Cyanotype is an alternative photography method that uses the light of the sun to develop a blue and white image. The cyanotype process uses a mixture of iron compounds, which when exposed to UV light and washed in water oxidize to create a beautiful Prussian blue. One of the oldest and easiest photographic processes, it is a fantastic starting point for learning alternative photographic practices. Hands on instruction, designing and developing prints. $45pp
